MKR: Stella and Jazzey shock love triangle

Inside the team's secret relationship drama.

They’re the first to admit to being very best friends and ‘proud’ of how well they get on in the MKR kitchen – but it seems Stella and Jazzey’s close bond has caused a few headaches when it comes to their private lives.

Stella tells New Idea that a former girlfriend was so jealous of the time she spent with her MKR teammate that it caused problems in their relationship.

‘I had a relationship before the show and my girlfriend called saying: “You need to stop having such a good time with Jazzey and spend time with me!” We did unfortunately break up,’ she says.

‘Yeah, I’ll probably stay single for quite a bit now – learn a bit about myself.’

Jazzey admits her friendship with Stella got off to a rocky start when they battled it out for the affections of the same man.

‘We officially met at school in Year 7,’ Jazzey tells. ‘Stella knew of me because I was dating a boy that she liked so she hated me! And then she met me and really liked me and I really liked her – and I didn’t have the boyfriend any more so that didn’t matter!’

In the kitchen, the pair say their close relationship is what sets them aside from the other teams in the competition – revealing that it’s actually part of their MKR strategy.

‘We get along really well and have never fought with each other in the kitchen,’ Stella says.

‘It was a decision before the show not to fight and we know each other very well so it was pretty easy not to.’

Adds Jazzey: ‘I’ve watched a lot of series of the show and you will find the teams will argue with each other and get stressed or turn on each other.’ Also assisting them in the competition was their close bond with other teams, namely Italian brothers Josh and Nic.

‘For girls of their ages, they were so mature and we bonded with them straight away,’ Nic spills
