They ruffled feathers when they called Australians ‘lazy’ in their backstory.
And after further questions from New Idea, the Russian friends are sticking by their fiery comments.
‘It’s kind of that laid-back attitude,’ Olga explains.
‘It annoyed me a lot when I came here. It’s a completely different dynamic and different attitude in Europe. Everything can be done much quicker over there.’
Valeria agrees, adding: ‘Laid-back and lazy – there is a very grey area.’
However, the dynamic duo say after living in Australia for a number of years, they’ve come to appreciate Aussies aren’t lazier, they’re healthier!
‘At rst I thought that people were lazy but it’s that they don’t want to kill themselves at work over something they probably don’t have to push that much,’ Olga explains.
