Just days after unlucky-in-love Blair and womaniser Sean tied the knot, the newlyweds were given a shocking ultimatum by the Married At First Sight producers.
According to an inside source, the pair were accused of being too ‘boring’ and were told to ‘create more drama’, or say goodbye.
‘They hardly knew each other and the producers sat them down and said they were getting the boot because they were dull,’ says our spy. ‘They were both devastated because they had invested a lot of time and emotions into the show, not to mention taking leave from work.’
Begging for another chance the couple agreed to have a heart-to-heart on camera, desperate to give their relationship the best chance.
‘They were very genuine and Sean really opened up to Blair. He discussed some ver y private things and actually began to cry,’ says the spy.
But unfortunately, according to the source, opening their hearts only bought another week of screen time before they were shown the door, due to go to air next week.
‘They just kicked them off anyway,’ says the spy. ‘They got them to fake a big argument so it looked like there was another reason for them to leave, but in reality they didn’t want to pay a crew to follow them around when they knew there was hardly any airtime in it.’
