Karl Stefanovic’s ex wife of 21 years Cassandra Thorburn was seen exiting Sydney on Thursday evening.
The mother of three was spotted with luggage in tow heading to Sydney airport.
Dressed in a low key outfit of jeans, a grey jersey and a pair of slides, Cassandra is said to be heading to Melbourne to spend some time with friends.
The trip comes ahead of her ex husband Karl’s wedding to fiance Jasmine Yarbrough which is set to take place in Mexico over the weekend.
Cassandra’s kids who she shares with Karl, Jackson, 19, Ava, 13 and 12-year-old River will be attending the wedding.
As she made her way through the terminal, the 47-year-old appeared lost in thought and perhaps a little strained as she headed towards the boarding gates.
Seated, the former journalist was engrossed in a conversation on her phone.
Cassandra has previously spoken about how she has struggled to come to terms with her divorce saying that Karl was ‘dead’ to her.
Karl also spoke of his life with his new partner who is ten years junior.
‘When Jasmine came into my life, I had no thoughts of new love or the future, but we are happy and grateful we found each other.
‘We are yet to work out when we will get married, but probably later this year. We are both very happy.’
