Karl Stefananovic’s $9m mansion buyer revealed

The buyer for Karl Stefananovic and his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn’s $9 million waterside mansion has been revealed.

The Cremorne waterfront house that the former couple had once planned to be their forever home before Karl dumped Cass was bought by publican Andrew Thomas, who runs his family’s long-held landmark pub The Oaks in Neutral Bay.

According to Domain, more than $9 million was paid for the three-level house which was bought in 2016 for $8 million.

Andrew, who is a third-generation hotelier, is expected to put his historic Queen Anne mansion in Neutral Bay, Cossington, on the market.

Earlier this month, Cassandra celebrated the house being sold and the start of a new chapter in her life.

The Dancing With The Stars alum took to Instagram to share the exciting news. 

“SOLD! Thank you Piers! A new chapter awaits,” she captioned a stunning sunset photo of the property. 

Karl and the former journalist called time on their 21-year marriage in 2016 and are no longer on speaking terms after he walked out on her and struck up a relationship with designer Jasmine Yarbrough, 34, just a few months later. 

Karl and Cass share three children together, Jackson, 19, Ava, 13, and River, 12.

While he married Jasmine in an OTT Mexican soiree in December.
