And now The Queen has stepped in to help Meghan, Duchess of Sussex in her hours of need.

According to The Express, Queen Elizabeth II has cleared her schedule of any engagements outside of Windsor, where both she and Meghan and Prince Harry reside.

The Queen will stay put at Windsor Castle, which is just a short 10 minute drive from her beloved grandson and wife’s Frogmore Cottage home.

“Her official diary shows she is to carry out in the next seven days only engagements taking place in Windsor,” the website reports.

The monarch is to present on May 3 a service of the Royal Victorian Order at St George’s Chapel, the church in the grounds of Windsor Castle where Meghan and Harry celebrated their marriage on May 19 last year. And on May 7 she will throw a luncheon at her castle for the members of the Order of Merit.”

News of The Queen’s maternal move comes after she visited the parents-to-be in late April, with a source telling The Sun, “Her Majesty wanted to formally welcome the Sussexes to their new home so she was their first visitor.

“After all, they’ve practically moved into her back garden,” the source added.

“She visited with other family members and Harry and Meghan were delighted to show them round.”
