The first on-set photos of the actors playing Prince Charles and Princess Diana on the hit series The Crown have been released.

In the snaps, actors Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin can be seen recreating Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s 1983 royal tour of Australia – a scene that was actually shot in Almería, Spain.
The actors are also seen sporting replicas of what the royal duo wore at Uluru.
Earlier this year Netflix released a statement on behalf of 23-year-old Corrin who says this is a role of a lifetime.
“I have been glued to the show and to think I’m now joining this incredibly talented acting family is surreal,” she said.
“Princess Diana was an icon and her effect on the world remains profound and inspiring. To explore her through Peter Morgan’s writing is the most exceptional opportunity and I will strive to do her justice.”
