She’s always insisted she wasn’t the maternal type, however, Ellen DeGeneres has opened up about her decision not to have children with wife Portia de Rossi.
Speaking with Jerry Seinfeld on the latest episode of his Netflix series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, the 60-year-old talk-show mogul appeared to express some regrets.
‘When I was younger I really wanted to have a baby – I thought I would adopt,’ she admitted.
However, the TV star revealed that Portia doesn’t want kids.
‘Portia doesn’t like the squealing when they’re in a pool. She doesn’t like that. But she wants more horses,’ Ellen said.
In 2016, Ellen told Sunday Style: ‘We talked about it…but we just decided we like our conversations not interrupted and our furniture without sticky grape juice on it.’
