Prince Charles reportedly told Prince William to break up with Kate Middleton!
This is after a 25-year-old Wills approached his dad and said he didn’t feel ready to get married, a royal author claims.
The Daily Star reports that in the 2016 documentary Kate Middleton: Biography, Christopher Andersen revealed Wills approached his dad for relationship advice in 2007.
“William went to his father and said, ‘Look, I’m 25, I’m too young to get married. I just don’t want to commit at this point,'” Anderson revealed.
Anderson said: “Charles, Charles, who was by then very fond of Kate, said, ‘It would be unfair to the young lady. You cannot string her along anymore, so you should just break it off.'”
The pair broke it off briefly and Anderson claims that Kate was not impressed.
He added: “She was reeling after William broke off their relationship.”
The couple went their separate ways for two months before rekindling their romance – and later marrying in April 2011.
