Biggest Loser star Daniel Wright has passed away at the age of 30.
Daniel, who appeared on the US version of the weight loss show, lost his two year battle with leukemia on May 26.
PEOPLE report that Daniel was first diagnosed with the disease in October 2017, but relapsed with a more severe case in December 2018.
He was married to his Biggest Loser co-star, Rebecca Wright.
“Please keep Rebecca Wright and her family in your thoughts and prayers,” season 12 contestant Joe Mitchell wrote in a social media tribute.
“After a long heroic fight, my fellow Biggest Loser and Browns fan Daniel Wright is at peace now in our Lord and Saviors arms.
“He was a hero and a man of faith who inspired so many, including me, during his short time on this earth.”
“He and his lovely bride showed the whole world what true love, faith and commitment are all about and he will be truly missed,” he wrote.
