Adam Levine proposed to his future wife Behati shortly after they reunited in the wake of their two month split. The singer, who performs live in front of thousands of people on the regular, was so nervous to ask Behati to marry him that he accidentally got down on both knees! Adam retold the proposal story on Live With Kelly & Michael, saying ‘”Doesn’t matter how certain you think you are. You still get down on that knee and you just get woozy and you’re like, “I’m doing this. Oh my God.” And you can’t be confident about it. It’s impossible…I’m a confident person, but I got down on that knee and everything changed immediately. I lost my equilibrium. I had to get on the other one.” Despite the slight hiccup, Behati said yes and they announced their engagement in July 2013.

Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine became wife and husband on 19 July 2014. Funny man Jonah Hill, a firm friend of Adam’s, officiated the private ceremony at Flora Farms in Los Cabos. Around 275 guests were in attendance, including other Tinsel Town heavyweights like Robert Downey Jr, Candice Swanepoel and Jason Segel. The newlyweds continued their honeymoon in Mexico and have been inseparable ever since.
