Media darlings Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic said their ‘I do’s’ yesterday in a gorgeous Kangaroo Valley ceremony surrounded by 160 guests, many of whom were celebrity friends.
Fellow Nine colleagues including Richard Wilkins, Lisa Wilkinson, Ben Fordham, and Airlie Walsh, celebs such as former Neighbours star Holly Valance and her Billionaire husband, Nick Candy…and of course, Peter’s brother, Karl were all in attendance for the beautiful day.
Sylvia looked stunning in her custom-made Rebecca Valance gown.
The dress featured a plunging neckline and intricate beading and she topped it off with a stunning cathedral veil, while Peter stuck to a classic black tux.
The lavish ceremony took place at the exclusive Ooralba Estate in the Kangaroo Valley.
Sylvia shared the first image of the couple after tying the knot to her Instagram account just hours after saying ‘I do’, captioning the shot with: ‘Best day of our lives’.
Today show co-host Lisa Wilkinson, 57, gushed over the couple in another stunning photo shared to Instagram.
The image saw Sylvia and Peter embracing in front of a floral archway.
‘The beautiful moment @sylviajeffreys & @peter_stefanovic became man and wife. So much joy!’ Lisa wrote alongside the hash-tags #happilyeverafter.
Ben Fordham also shared the above gorgeous image.
And in true comedy form, Karl Stefanovic performed his best man wedding speech to the tune of Oasis’ Champagne Supernova.
At one point, the song paid homage to Sylvia’s ‘great behind,’ as well as 60 Minutes’ child abduction bungle – which saw Channel Nine journalist Tara Brown spend two weeks in a Lebanese jail.
Performing alongside his brother Tom, Karl sang: ‘Someday you will find him/In a Beirut jail like Tara/ He’s more like Ray Martin/ He’s better than Ray Martin.’
Jokingly referencing the Stefanovic families affluent lifestyle, Karl later sang:
‘We got beautiful heads/we don’t pay for sh*t agents deliver it/and they know why.’
There was much speculation as to who Peter’s brother Karl would bring to the wedding. It is believed his ex wife, Cassandra was not invited and his rumoured new girlfriend, model Jasmine Yarbrough didn’t appear to be in attendance either.
