Prince Edward’s rather unique way of cutting a cake has gone vial – and it is fabulous.
Queen Elizabeth‘s youngest son made an appearance at the Lakeland Community Care Centre in Northern Ireland to help them celebrate their 25th anniversary.

Edward was filmed cutting the cake — and people couldn’t help but notice his enthusiasm.
In a video, Prince Edward can be heard counting down: “Ready? One, two, three, go!” before stabbing the centre of the cake and cutting it excitedly.
One fan wrote: “This is a man who has never cut cake before”.
“The Earl of Wessex cake cutting skills made me smile,” wrote another. “I love his sense of humour. EVERYTHING doesn’t have to be serious especially delicious looking cake.”
A third chimed in, “Good to see The Earl of Wessex putting some humour into things! Love it!”
