Harry and Meghan’s wedding shock: You won’t believe who is going!

This is one high-profile party.

The Happy couple will wed on May 19.

After repeatedly thwarting any chances of a Spice Girls reunion, Victoria Beckham is finally ready to sign on the dotted line – on one condition.

The fab five recently caught up in London to discuss the details of a potential reunion, with Geri Horner campaigning for the girls to perform at Meghan and Harry’s wedding as their first gig.

‘Geri suggested the royal wedding was a fantastic opportunity, and that they should offer to perform at the reception,’ a source told The Sun.

‘And the wedding fits in perfectly with Geri’s idea that the reunion should be very British. She sees it as a big part of their identity, and one they should keep.’

And it appears the lure of a royal wedding was enough to entice Victoria back onto the stage, with the fashion designer agreeing to the proposal, but only if Meghan wears one of her dresses on the day!

‘Let’s face it, she and David are worth over $800 million, so money is no incentive for Victoria,’ a source tells New Idea. ‘But the prospect of having Meghan wearing one of her dresses during such an iconic royal moment, that type of exposure is priceless.’

Indeed, dressing a royal bride would be quite the coup for Victoria, who has previously been adamant that her pop star days were long behind her.

‘It’s not happening,’ said Victoria of reunion talk just two months ago. ‘At some point you’ve gotta know when it’s time to say, “That was great.”

‘Girl power will always be out there and is something that we all still believe. What I do now is still all about girl power, but it’s empowering women through power.

And while this diva demand from Victoria may appear to be a sneaky ploy to sabotage the Spice Girls reunion, the other members believe they have a good chance of making it happen – not only is Meghan believed to be a fan of the band, she also sported a Victoria Beckham sweater in her engagement shoot.

‘While it is unlikely Meghan would wear one of Victoria’s designs for the official church ceremony, wearing one to the reception is not out of the question,’ says a source. ‘After all, Victoria is a respected British designer whose clothes match Meghan’s classic, simple style aesthetic.’

Now with Meghan’s cooperation, Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton are feeling optimistic about removing the final roadblock in their tireless campaign to reunite the band.

‘We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for the Spice Girls,’ said the band members in a statement on their London rendezvous.

‘The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of the Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations.’
