Step 1
Combine chicken, garlic, soy sauce and cornflour in a bowl. Cover and set aside for 20 mins.
Step 2
SAUCE: Combine all ingredients in a jug with 1 tbsp water.
Step 3
Heat an oiled, large wok over a high heat. Stir-fry chicken in two batches for about 2 mins, or until browned and just cooked. Remove.
Step 4
Add broccoli to the wok with 2 tbsp water. Stir-fry for 2 mins. Add sauce mixture. Bring to boil. Cook, stirring, for 2 mins. Return chicken to wok with onions. Stir-fry until combined and hot.
Step 5
Serve with rice.
