Royal fans got the message.

Queen Elizabeth II has subtly snubbed Donald Trump with a very sneaky fashion choice, and royal fans have picked up on the message.

The day US President Trump arrived in London to meet Her Majesty, she had previously met with the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar for an audience at Windsor Castle.

While meeting with her guests, the Queen wore an American State Visit Brooch. The vintage ornament, a small green flower, was a gift from former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama during their state visit in 2011.

The Obamas reportedly hand-picked the personal gift, which featured 14-karat yellow gold, diamonds and moss agate, at Washington D.C.’s Tiny Jewel Box store.

Many noticed that the Queen had subtly removed the brooch before her meeting with Trump later in the day, with royal fans noting this is Her Majesty’s way of sending a message to the world.

That same day, tens of thousands of protesters marched through the streets of London, near where Trump was being greeted by the Queen, in what was dubbed ‘The Stop Trump March.’

The protesters carried signs that read ‘Trump Not Welcome’ and ‘Dump Trump.’
