Queen Elizabeth II was fabulously fashionable in a fuchsia suit as she met with World War II veterans during the 75th D-Day commemorations on Wednesday.

Her Majesty looked flawless wearing a long buttoned jacket and skirt, with matching hat and her signature pearl jewellery.

The 93-year-old monarch was accompanied by her son Prince Charles, British Prime Minister Theresa May, American President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump.

The First Lady looked elegant in a full length wool coat from Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s line The Row and an elegant asymmetric disc hat by royal milliner Philip Treacy, Daily Mail reports.

Three hundred veterans attended the D-Day commemorations to listen to Queen Elizabeth deliver a short but powerful speech in which she quoted her father, King George VI, and noted the “heroism, courage and sacrifice” of the soldiers who lost their lives in WWII.

World leaders including Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were also in attendance, seated close by the Queen.

Her Majesty looked in high spirits as she shared jokes with veterans and chatted with President Trump on the final day of his state visit to Britain, though at one point HM looked less than amused with the conversation.

Mr Trump and the First Lady touched down in London on Monday morning and headed straight for Buckingham Palace, where they were greeted by the Queen, the Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

The Trumps enjoyed afternoon tea at Clarence House ahead of a state banquet at the Palace, which was attended by 16 royals including Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Anne, Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.
