Princess Eugenie has once again taken cue from Meghan Markle’s royal wardrobe while attending an event to mark the late Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday in London.
The 28-year-old stunned in a forest green dress and some very familiar strappy heels.
Royal fans noted the beige pointed-toe shoes are Aquazzura’s Matilde crisscross suede pumps – the same ones the Duchess of Sussex chose for her engagement to Prince Harry in the gardens of Kensington Palace.
Just yesterday, Eugenie was again accused of copying Meghan when Buckingham Palace announced new details for her October 12 wedding to Jack Brooksbank.
Along with the Windsor Castle location, Eugenie and Jack decided to invite members of the public to witness their big day.
In an official statement, Kensington Palace revealed: ‘Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York and Mr. Jack Brooksbank will invite members of the public to join in the celebrations of their wedding on Friday 12th October.
‘The couple are delighted to announce an opportunity for 1,200 people from across the United Kingdom to be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to share the experience of their special day.’
‘The attendees will view the arrival of the congregation and Members of the Royal Family, listen to a live broadcast of the Marriage Service and watch as the Bride and Groom depart St George’s Chapel at the end of the ceremony.’
Similarly to Harry and Meghan, the newlyweds will also undertake a short carriage procession through Windsor High Street.
‘The carriage will process through the grounds of Windsor Castle, departing via Castle Hill to proceed along part of the High Street before returning to the Castle via Cambridge Gate,’ the statement read.
Another similarity comes as representatives of charities beloved by Eugenie and Jack will also be in attendance.
The statement said: ‘Also present in the Castle Grounds will be representatives of charities supported by Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, together with members of the Windsor community and children from the local schools which Her Royal Highness attended. Residents of Windsor Castle and a number of Royal Household staff will also be present.’
