Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘not required’ to invite politicians to their wedding

Strictly a family affair!

Kensington Palace has revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided that ‘an official list of political leaders – both UK and international is not required’ for their wedding on May 19.

That means US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May are not among 600 people invited to the May 19 ceremony at Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel.

As Harry is unlikely to occupy the throne, his guest list does not need to reflect any political agendas.

It has also been revealed that former US President Barack Obama and wife Michelle are not invited to the couple’s big day.

Meanwhile, members of the public have learned whether or not they’ve been lucky enough to snab an invite to the highly anticiapted event.

Kensington Palace has begun to reveal some lucky invitees on Twitter.
