The Anko Glamour Dolls cost $4 and are being praised because they offer more realistic body proportions.

The collection features four female dolls, each with varying hair and skin colours.

Their outfit choices are straight-forward and simple and they’re even dressed in flat shoes.

Posting to a popular Kmart group, one mother wrote “Spotted these “Glamour Dolls” today. Same height as Barbie but twice the width, ie, a normal human size. How good!”

The dolls, which also feature minimal makeup, were celebrated for their “normal” appearance and for being dressed in a way that was both stylish and practical.

“Love it, they’re “normal” looking, actually dressed to cover the body, and not blasted with a sh*tload of makeup. We need more like this,” wrote one commenter.

Another added, “They actually look like normal women (with thighs) – I want them.”
