Prince William has been the subject of a cheeky practical joke.
During the Submariners’ Remembrance Service on Sunday, Nov. 4, the Duke of Cambridge honoured the fallen soldiers.
At the annual service, attendees toast absent friends with a swig from a hip-flask.
However, the 36-year-old royal revealed that hip-flask had been tampered with during the reception in London.
When asked if he had bought one along the prince said: “I’ll never be asked twice about drinking, it’s very important.
“They tried to put a Jägerbomb in it! imagine my surprise – burnt my throat.”
Later, when speaking to guests at the event, William recounted the story.
“They tried to put Jägerbomb instead of rum – that would have sorted me out was expecting rum and got a Jägerbomb.”
