It may have been love at first sight for Prince Harry when he met Meghan Markle, but his sister in law, Kate Middleton is the lady who helped him make his relationship official.
According to Vanity Fair’s Royal Correspondent, Katie Nicholl: “Harry and Kate are very close, she’s been like a mentor to him and he wanted her seal of approval.”
Documentary “William and Harry: Brothers in Arms” gives an insight into what Prince Harry thought of the Duchess of Cambridge.
In the show, journalist Ashley Pearson reveals: “Harry and Kate have a very warm, affectionate relationship.”
“Kate gives him a feminine perspective and a feminine touch.”
Ashley explains: “I think whoever Harry ends up with needs to get along with Kate.
“Kate has a very strong presence in Harry’s life and has strong opinions.
“So I think Harry very much wants the kind of girl that Kate would like and I think her opinion’s very important to him.
“I think he seeks her advice about girls, and ultimately he wants to bring home someone that’s as widely respected and loved the way his sister-in-law is.”
