A morgue worker has been fired from his job, and dumped by his wife, amid published allegations he sexually violated the dead body of a reality TV star, according to Britain’s top-selling The Sun newspaper.
Oksana Aplekaeva, who starred in the top-rated Russian version of Big Brother, called Dom-2, was reportedly murdered in unsolved circumstances in 2008, with her body apparently thrown from a moving car.
With the culprit never caught, her body was recently exhumed so forensic teams could perform further tests. According to newspaper reports, tests showed that she had been sexually violated after her body was placed in the morgue, by a 37-year-old employee named only as Alexander.
‘I could not argue against science,’ the man was widely quoted as saying. ‘I have not been able to find a job for three months.’
His wife has also left him and changed her number, according to reports. The man had been working at the morgue for 12 years.
Oksana’s killer still remains at large, with police continuing their investigation.
