ROYALS

Meghan’s wedding dress betrayal

This is every bride's pet peeve.

Many brides fear that their stylists will replicate their “custom” wedding dresses for future clients.

For a royal, however, it’s on a whole other level.

It appears Meghan Markle‘s stylist friend, Jessica Mulroney, has copied Meghan’s Stella McCartney wedding gown for another client.

Millions saw Meghan attend her extravagant wedding reception with Prince Harry in the $100,000 dress, so it’s no surprise that it served as inspiration for brides this year.

The gown exuded elegance, and Kensington Palace described it as a “bespoke lily white high neck gown made of silk crepe.”

Mulroney helped to style Meghan for the momentous occasion, sharing a picture of Meghan on the day of her wedding.

“Regal beauty. Simplicity and elegance at its best. I’m so proud of you,” she wrote.

Jessica is one of Meghan’s closest and most trusted friends.

The pair have known each other since Meghan moved from Los Angeles to Toronto, and have travelled to Italy together.

Jessica’s children were even in the bridal party for Meghan and Harry’s wedding.

However, this week the stylist posted a picture of another bride wearing an almost carbon copy of Meghan’s dress on Instagram.

“This look. This couple! “High neck for the win,” she wrote in the caption.

The entire look was almost identical to Meghan’s, with the same high neck design and fit.

The bride even styled her hair the exact same way, clearly inspired by the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding look.

Mulroney’s followers instantly noticed the resemblance, leaving a series of comments.

“It’s a Meghan Markle reception dress for a bride!” wrote one user.

Others agreed, with one follower writing, “It reminds me of Meghan’s second gown.”

“Looks like Meghan’s evening dress,” said another.

While Mulroney tagged Kleinfeld Canada as the designer, it didn’t do much to deter royal fans from drawing comparisons.
