Wednesday night’s episode of Married At First Sight saw Elizabeth Sobinoff mysteriously vanish, leaving her husband Sam alone.

Although Elizabeth’s ‘husband’ Sam went missing without contact during the couple’s honeymoon week, the 26-year-old tradie was none too impressed that his wife hadn’t shown up to the commitment ceremony on Sunday night’s episode.
Sam Ball, who was battling chicken pox, made the claim that his wife had disrespected him by not reaching out our turning up to the ceremony: “I’m sick as a dog and I still wanted to be present and make the most of it so I’m surprised Elizabeth can’t do the same.”
“This is just disrespect to me.”
In response to Sam’s fury, expert John Aiken informed the reality TV contestant that Elizabeth had fallen ill: “Elizabeth has been struck down by a virus and she was not able to make the last dinner party and nor can she make the commitment ceremony tonight.”
Despite his show of anger at his ‘wife’ Lizzie, Sam told the camera that his decision to stay was to continue his affair with fellow contestant Ines Basic: “I decided to stay because I didn’t want to leave this relationship with Ines.”
He added: “Knowing she’s gonna stay for the chance of blossoming this relationship with me, I honestly think, yeah, it’d be great.”
