Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new season of the hit show, and the wait will soon be over, as Netflix has announced it is set to return to screens on July 4 – American Independence Day.
Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven on the hit ’80s-inspired show, posted one of a series of posters to spruik the new season to her Instagram on Monday.
Millie posted the promo shot along with the caption “It’s coming #strangerthings3”.
With only weeks to go until it hits screens, fans will have to make do with the nostalgia-packed trailer for now.
While it doesn’t give away any of the plot details, it does transport viewers right back to an ’80s summer, complete with boomboxes, banana clips, bicycles and bad hairstyles.
