Channel Seven has changed the way they’re doing things for My Kitchen Rules in 2020.

My Kitchen Rules: The Rivals 2020 sneak peek

My Kitchen Rules: The Rivals will have new contenders, facing off against old champions, PLUS, judges Colin Fassnidge and Manu Fiedel will go head to head with one another, in a French vs Irish showdown we’ve all been waiting for.

“Choose your weapon,” judge Pete Evans says to both Manu and Colin, as they choose a grater and egg beater. “Let’s take this to the kitchen.”

“Judge vs Judge, Champions vs Contenders, House vs House. You’ve never seen an MJR like this!” reads the press release.

“I want to kick Colin’s butt,” Manu exclaims, fired up in the kitchen before Colin tricks him into a handshake. “See ya Frenchie,” he teases.

“It’s Manu vs Colin, I’ll do anything to win,” Manu tells the camera, before slapping the Irish chef with an oven mitt.

The teaser also shows past contestants coming back to show off their skills once more, with new home cooks facing off against them.

It’s something we’ve never seen before with the show, but we can expect it to be very interesting.
