Things must be getting more serious! The Project star Hamish McDonald has presented his reported partner, Jacob Fitzroy, on the red carpet of the GQ Gentleman’s Ball, with a sweet hand-holding picture appearing on the magazine’s official Instagram.
Hamish – a longtime advocate of same sex marriage – see video below – looked very happy, beaming ear to ear as he walked the carpet at the event.
The 38-year-old Australian star was greeted with a deluge of positive comments from fans, who were delighted he appears to have found personal happiness. The picture, by Lucas Dawson Photography, has since become a major talking point among fans.
‘You go boys. So happy for you,’ wrote one, while another gushed, ‘This is everything.’
The star earlier this year posted a photograph of himself with his arm around Jacob at Tasmania’s stunning Freycinet National Park, Hamish captioned the image: ‘Favourite human 🌿.’
Fans and media colleagues were thrilled by the happy beachside image, with one writing, ‘in a world that’s full of so much hate and dread lately this warms my heart overwhelmingly.’
Another wrote, ‘That’s so cute and sweet. I hope to find my favorite human some day too…’
