It’s been over a year since they split, and now Richie Strahan and Alex Nation are finally dissecting the implosion of their relationship.
The former Bachelor and his last-girl-standing have reunited for the first time since their split, on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Fiji.
“He flew off determined there was no chance he was going to weaken again,” confides a mate, adding Richie has had two girlfriends since 27-year-old Alex, but both relationships were short-lived.
“Time is a great healer and his plan was to be as polite and courteous to Alex as possible.”
New Idea understands producers took some time to convince Richie, 33, to confront the love of his life in front of more than a dozen cameras.
“Richie figured one of three things was going to happen in Fiji,” reveals the friend.
“Alex would either apologise, make his time there as uncomfortable as possible – which would make for good TV – or try to win him back.” Only time will tell!
