Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are set to welcome a new addition to the family – revealing that they’re finally expecting a baby of their own.
It’s believed the couple made the surprise announcement to family and friends last week, revealing their ‘one last attempt’ to fall pregnant had given them the miracle news they had been waiting for.
‘Jen and Justin decided to make it their mission for the last few months of 2017 – to try and fall pregnant by Christmas,’ a source tells New Idea. ‘They can’t believe that their baby dream has finally come true – it’s a miracle.
‘Justin has always been really supportive of Jen and happy to follow her lead on whether they had kids or not. When she said she was keen to try one last time, of course he said yes.
‘They’re still in the very early stages so need to wait a bit longer before going public – but they’re very hopeful.’

In the past, Jen has lashed out at suggestions that she chose her Hollywood career over becoming a mum – revealing she’d love to fall pregnant.
‘This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don’t want to be a mother and how selfish that is,’ she told Allure.
Denying that is the case, she says: ‘No. Even saying it gets me a little tight in my throat.’
But in an interesting twist, it seems Jen’s pregnancy may turn to double joy. Source reveal the couple had been investigating adopting a baby from Puerto Rico, which was recently ravaged by Hurricane Maria, prompting a humanitarian crisis and leaving a reported 900 dead.
Jen has already donated US$1million of her own money to relief efforts in the region, but had also decided to go one step further and give a child a home.
‘Adopting from Puerto Rico was their plan B in case their last effort to fall pregnant didn’t work out,’ says a source. ‘But they haven’t closed the door on adopting from the region, and have gone through all the paperwork and legalities.’
