Donald Trump has made an announcement at the White House today introducing Judge Neil Gorsuch as his U.S supreme Court nominee.
But this time it was the President’s hair, not his controversial remarks, that raised eyebrows.
Fans were quick to notice Trump’s new dirty blonde tresses, taking to Twitter to show their support for his more natural look.
Even those close to him would agree his new dye job is a big improvement from the brassy locks he usually sports.
Speaking with the Mirror in July, stylist Amy Lasch – who worked with the former reality star during his time on the Apprentice – said Trump’s hair colour was a “calamity” and definitely not the work of a professional.
“The colour was so inconsistent,” she explained.
“It was not done correctly. They just coloured the top and did not colour what was underneath properly. It was someone in his inner-circle who was cutting and colouring his hair. His wife maybe or his daughter.”
In the past, Trump has hit back at rumours he choices to wear a toupee, with the business mogul repeatedly maintaining that his hair is all his own.
Ahead of his inauguration the 70-year-old even joked that he didn’t mind if it rained during the event as “people will realise it’s my real hair.”
