Delta Goodrem looked radiant as she stepped out in Melbourne last week with her boyfriend by her side, prompting speculation that she might be on the brink of a very special announcement.
The Voice judge performed at the charity River4Ward concert and looked delighted to be sharing the stage with her long-term love, Matthew Copley.

While Delta sang some of her hits, Matthew was on guitar and sang back-up vocals, all the while watching his girlfriend with obvious pride and love.
The event marked a surprisingly public outing for the couple, who have kept their relationship mostly under wraps since they were photographed kissing while holidaying in Hawaii in January 2018.
Since then, the boyfriend and girlfriend have made only occasional appearances on each other’s social-media accounts.

Delta met the fellow musician while touring in October 2017 but after a brief break-up, announced last April that she was single again.
But when the pair were spotted looking loved-up again in Los Angeles last October, there were reports the relationship had taken a serious turn.

“After spending some time away from Matthew, Delta realised that he was The One,”
a source close to the singer told New Idea at the time.
“She never stopped loving him and wants them to build a life together – it’s that simple.”
Yet in January, Delta denied rumours they were planning a Byron Bay wedding. On Instagram, she explained that wedding bells weren’t ringing
– yet – but promised her fans to let them know when they did, posting, “As I have said a million times I will let you all know. I won’t leave you all out of that special day, one day”.
However, last year, Delta explained in an interview with InStyle magazine that she no longer wanted to share details of her romantic relationships.
“I made a conscious decision when I was 30 that I’m not somebody who wants to talk about relationships. [It’s] not how I started and then a relationship kind of pulled me into it and I tested that water and realised that’s not me,” she explained.
Fans now hope an announcement that the pair are starting a family isn’t far off. Delta’s decision to recently purchase a $4.8 million Sydney two-bedroom apartment in January, after selling her LA home in 2017, has been seen as a sign that the couple are ready to settle down.
Last year, Delta told WHO magazine how having a family was definitely still on her agenda.
“I always knew it would be a little later in life for me, I always knew that,” Delta said.
“Of course I look forward to when that chapter is, and that will be a beautiful moment.” She added, “I love kids and I’m definitely looking forward to that chapter in my life, I really am!”
Yet after suffering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2003, Delta has previously admitted
to being unsure whether the treatment she received at the time would affect her chances of getting pregnant.
“I don’t know if I’ll be able to have kids because the treatment can make you infertile,” she said, revealing, “At 18, I felt I was too young to even think about having my eggs frozen.”
