Simon ‘Hotdogs’ Deering made his Australian television debut on 2005’s Big Brother, and now the ‘rowdy’ reality star has reappeared on our television screens.
Fans flocked to Twitter on Monday night after instantly recognising Deering on Channel Seven’s House Rules.
Although not a contestant on the hit renovation show, Hotdogs appeared as the Perth property expert for Purplebricks.
Looking sharp in a tailored suit, he gave homeowners Chiara and David a valuation for their recently-renovated home in Western Australia.

Despite it being well over a decade since Hotdogs graced our TV screens, fans couldn’t help but recognise the out-there character.
Deering has been working for Purplebricks since May 2017, after entering the real estate business in 2011.
The Purplebricks website describes Hotdogs as ‘a devoted husband and a very proud and loving father of two amazing little girls.’
