Bachelor in Paradise 2019: Who is Alisha Aitken-Radburn?

Everything you need to know about The Bachelor's former 'mean girl'

She was branded the resident ‘mean girl’ on Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins’ season of The Bachelor in 2018, but Alisa Aitken-Radburn has a chance to wipe her slate clean by starring on the upcoming series of Bachelor in Paradise.

The outspoken 26-year-old quit her prestigious role as advisor to Australian Labor Party leader Bill Shorten to try her hand at reality TV, but received major backlash from viewers thanks to her friendship with bad girls Cat Henesey and Romy Pouiler on the sixth series of the popular franchise.

Alisha – who is a self-professed ‘hopeless romantic’ – made it to the halfway point of the 2018 season before getting the boot by the now infamous Honey Badger.

She later admitted some senior figureheads in the Labor Party felt she was throwing a promising career away for a stint on the matchmaking show, and described the immediate aftermath of her journey on The Bachelor as ‘a bumpy road’.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Alisha has since returned to the political fold and is now Director of Events and Fundraising at the New South Wales Labor party.

It seems Alisha has always courted some form of fame.

In a 2018 interview with Honisoit.com, the Canberra-based beauty revealed she had dreamed of becoming a news reported for Channel 7 and studied Media and Communications at university.

Before The Bachelor, Alisha was in a relationship with Dean Shachar, Vice President of the Young Liberals and an advisor for Pru Goward.

The blonde bombshell was previously a liaison producer at Sky News and also worked as a research assistant.
