After having his heart broken on The Bachelorette, Jarrod Woodgate found love again with fellow reality star Keira Maguire on Bachelor In Paradise.
Since wrapping up the show at the end of last year, the couple have been splitting their time between their home in Melbourne and Jarrod’s farm in Gippsland, and they couldn’t be happier.
‘Life is good, and it is just getting better for the two of us,’ Jarrod gushes to New Idea.
And now, the loved-up pair are talking everything babies.
‘I think Keira would be an amazing parent because she is so good with kids and she’s so funny,’ he says. ‘She does all the make-up for my nieces when they come over, they do a little makeover in my room.
‘I think I would be the hard parent, but my mum says I will be the softy.’
Starting a family with Keira would be a dream come true for the reality star, who has recently become the ambassador for the Heinz Pasta Sauce range.
‘It’s a family-filled ingredient and I think it’s a lot of fun,’ Jarrod says of the new range of sauces. ‘Down the track, who knows, we will be able to make it with our kids.
‘I’ve got to get through this role and focus on life and make sure we are all set and ready to go, and then who knows what will happen.’
Before they start a family, there could be a wedding on the cards for the couple.
‘It’s something you have to stay tuned for,’ he reveals.
As for whether he has thought about how he will pop the question, ‘potentially,’ spills Jarrod coyly. ‘But, you can’t have any details about that.’
Meanwhile, the duo have faced their fair share of critics, who claim they are just after fame, but Jarrod doesn’t take it to heart.
‘Honestly, we don’t let it bother us,’ he says. ‘We’ve got so many things going on in our lives that we don’t have time to let these people put us down. We know who we are and what we have, and they will see that in the future and forever and ever.’
