Get ready Blockheads because Season 14 of Channel Nine’s hit renovation show The Block airs Sunday, August 5, 2018, and it’s set to be its biggest and best yet.
Hosted by Scott Cam, determined teams will give Melbourne’s rundown Gatwick Hotel the ultimate makeover, with the hopes of taking home the coveted prize money.
Netball champions Bianca and Carla, newlywed parents Sara and Hayden, engaged parents Jess and Norm, married couple Kerry and Spence and WA couple Hans and Courtney will all battle it out in this years reno’s.
Mentor’s Shelley Craft and Foremen Dan Reilly and Keith Schleiger all return for the shows 14th season.

The latest season of The Block has already caused controversy, with the network announcing the Gatwick Hotel in St Kilda as its renovation site.
The infamous ‘house of horrors’, which has seen a series of fatal drug overdoses over the years, was reportedly cleaned of 389 syringes, with some found wedged under carpets and floor boards.
A source told the Telegraph earlier this year, ‘Some rooms were immaculately maintained by elderly boarders and then right next door would be an ice lab.’
‘There was graffiti sprayed on the walls and they had lifted up carpet to push needles through holes in the floorboards,’ they added.
