Despite all the flirting and on-screen romance, Brooke Blurton has revealed that Alex Nation wasn’t her first choice as a love interest on the show.
The former Bachelor star, 23, admitted that Alex, 27, was ‘in the mix’ of people she’d wanted to get to know – before adding that she was open to all possibilities on the show.
When asked on The Project on Thursday if Alex was her ‘firm favourite’, she said: ‘No. I was more curious to get to know her.’
‘She was in amongst the mix, but she wasn’t a favourite favourite because I was quite open to all connections.’
This all comes after a recent Bachelor in Paradise promo video teased that Brooke and Alex get together in the series first-ever same-sex romance.
The promo showed the two women kissing before Alex said: ‘If the kiss is electric and amazing and you really feel it, you’re on!’
Brooke has previously described Alex as a ‘beautiful woman’ in an interview with OK! Magazine.
Alex returned the favor by telling the publication the two people she is interested in on the show are Brooke and Bill Goldsmith.
Despite not appearing on the show, one of last year’s contestants recently said that Alex and Brooke’s connection is 100 percent real.
‘We all know that Alex likes girls and that Brooke likes girls,’ Megan Marx said.
