This is what Prince George will be learning at school this year

It’s not your average 5-year-old’s school curriculum

Prince George is about to start a new year at school, and Year One at St Thomas’s Battersea is looking to be a fun one for the young royal.

The future king will learn history, geography and religious studies. He’ll also be taught by specialist teachers in the subjects of French, computing – and even ballet!

According to the school’s website, ballet “develops students’ physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality, using a range of sounds and musical styles.

“This strong foundation prepares students for a successful transition to Ballet and other dance genres.”

And if George chooses, he can even join the school choir, learn a musical instrument or take a drama class.

The jump from kindergarten to Year One at the $35,000 per year private school will also
mean that Prince George can expect more homework, which will be in the form of ten minutes reading each night and a spelling rule each week.
