Shannon Baff managed to score the first date with Nick Cummins on The Bachelor, but she failed to win his heart.
Despite hitting it off on their date, the couple’s relationship seemed to fizzle as Nick began to make closer bonds with the other girls.
But, now Shannon is dishing to New Idea who she thinks will win and whether Nick will pop the question.
We are sorry to see you go. How did you feel going into the rose ceremony?
When I got into the rose ceremony I had a pretty good idea that it was my time. There was a lot of pressure on the last date card and when I realised Sophie got the last date and I hadn’t spent much time with Nick so I think my destiny was laid out.
You both seemed to hit it off on your date but then we didn’t see much of you. Did you spend more time with Nick off camera?
I just had chats when I could and did as much as I could but it’s just the way it panned out. I feel that if I did get the opportunity to spend more time with Nick, there would be more to explore but the person that he ends up with at the end is the person he is meant to be with.
Having spent some time with the girls in the house, who do you think Nick will end up with?
I’m going to put my bets on Brooke because I know her so well and she has got so much to offer, but we will see.
Do you think Nick will propose in the finale?
I don’t know, I am so curious myself! But, if that’s the way the cookie crumbles then good on him.
You have also spoken about suffering from anxiety and depression in the house, what did you do to cope?
I would do a lot of painting which was cool. I packed a whole entire suitcase of my painting stuff so I ended up running out of clothes to wear. All the girls got involved and I gave a couple to my girlfriends in the house. If anyone had a down day I would paint them a picture, that was my input in the house. Regardless of the down days the up days, we all had each other.
Are you dating anyone now?
Nah, I’m still single. I wouldn’t mind meeting someone, but that’s alright.
