Channel Nine has confirmed that former Today show presenter Sylvia Jeffries is moving to A Current Affair.
‘Sylvia is working on some projects close to her heart across several departments, including A Current Affair,’ a network spokesperson told Daily Mail.
‘We’ll have more to announce soon,’ they added.
The news comes after Sylvia was dropped from The Today Show following her husband Peter Stefanovic’s departure, along with his brother Karl.
At the time Sylvia issued a formal statement of her departure.
‘I’ve loved and embraced every minute of my Today show chapter and I’m thrilled to sink my teeth into a brand new project,’ she said.
‘Opportunity often knocks when you least expect it and I’m ready to dive right in to what’s ahead of me.’
