Kinsey French loves her students so when it came to getting married to her fiancé Josh she knew she wanted her students by her side.
The teacher, who has a class of children with Down syndrome, wanted them to be her flower girls and ring bearers.
‘They were like family to me,’ she said. ‘They were my first class and they’ve been my only class and so I knew I couldn’t have a special day without them.’
The children, dressed in gowns, brace, and bow ties, said they loved their teacher’s wedding – especially the food and dancing!
Says Kinsey: ‘Yes, they have Down syndrome but they’re also children. They’re children first.’
