Jessica Simpson has had a hard time over the course of her third pregnancy.
From chronic insomnia to severely swollen ankles, it’s safe to say it hasn’t been an easy ride for the 38-year-old actress.
But it seems Jess has learned to laugh at her own misfortune as her pregnancy woes continue with a damaged household instrument.
On February 12, the fashion designer took to Instagram to reveal she had broken her toilet seat.
“Warning: Don’t lean back on the toilet when pregnant,” the good humoured star captioned the hilarious shot, which showed her holding the snapped lid in her hands.
The post quickly racked up almost 165,000 likes and hundreds of comments, with fans flocking to share messages of support and sympathy with the famous mother.
The toilet fiasco is the latest incident in Jess’ pregnancy saga, which has seen her go to extreme lengths in a bid to feel comfortable.
The Dukes of Hazzard actress revealed she had been going on midnight strolls to combat her persistent insomnia, as well as investing in a sleep recliner which she hoped would alleviate her acid reflux.
According to Radar Online, Jessica – who is already mother to 6-year-old Maxwell Drew and 5-year-old Ace Knute with husband Eric Johnson – has gained over 100 pounds since she became pregnant with another little girl.
US Weekly reports the blonde bombshell will call her second daughter Birdie, which the star hinted at through the decor of her baby shower on January 19.
