The happy news of a family wedding follows mounting speculation that Sarah herself may soon be headed back down the aisle, with her former husband and long time housemate Prince Andrew.

The duo have been seemingly inseparable of late, attending a number of royal events together. Could the royal family have another wedding on the horizon?

They sat together at the wedding of their youngest daughter Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle last October, are rarely parted way at the wedding reception, and even shared a holiday in Bahrain.

‘Andrew is doing everything he can to bring Fergie back into the royal fold,’ a palace source was quoted as saying in the wake of Eugenie’s wedding.

‘She was at the preview of Trooping the Colour and Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding in London, but he’s just not allowed to bring her to official events until they are officially married again.’

The Duke of York no longer needs Queen Elizabeth II’s permission for a royal wedding, since the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s third child Prince Louis last April pushed Andrew back to seventh in line to the throne.

Notably, Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the rumours of a second marriage when contacted by Express.co.uk

With Princess Beatrice rumoured to be getting more serious with partner Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, it might now be a race down the aisle for mother and daughter!

The buzz follows a busy time from the British royal family – with Prince Charles and Camilla recently grabbing headline by hosting Donals Trump during his recent state visit to Britain, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcoming baby Archie.

Will England soon have another royal celebration to top Princess Eugenie’s wedding? Time will tell.
