WATCH: Qantas Points Plane: How you can nab a seat on the first flight

Well here’s your chance!

Qantas’ new Points Plane will take off from Melbourne in October – and its destination is Tokyo, Japan!

Available to Qantas Frequent Flyer members, an economy seat is just 35,000 points and premium economy 54,000.

To snag a spot in business class, FF members will use 72,000, and 108,000 for first class.

Qantas CEO of Loyalty, Olivia Wirth told Sunrise that Tokyo is a travel hotspot right now.

“It’s one of our top five searched destinations online so we know it’s going to be a hit,” she said.

“We’re trialing this as a new way for our customers to use their points. Let’s see how it goes!”

The lucky plane-load who get in first, will enjoy a “unique cocktail menu and meal service, signature pyjamas and inflight giveaways.”
