Princess Beatrice is now officially on wedding watch, with royal fans around the world convinced the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson is about to be the subject of a major announcement.

Royal watchers were first sent into a spin on Saturday, when the Princess attended the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor at St.George’s Chapel, and things have only escalated since then. Accompanying Beatrice was boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, marking their first official royal engagement as an item.
The seriousness of the relationship is clear, when royal protocol only allows members of the family to bring dates when things are on track for commitment. For perspective, Kate Middleton only attended her first royal event with Prince William five years into their relationship.
Now fans are convinced that an announcement can’t be far off, with social media and royal forums deluged with frenzied speculation over the past 24 hours.

While Beatrice likes to keep her relationship status private, it is believed the pair hooked up around a year ago and the coupling represents the Princess’s first known relationship since she split from Dave Clark in 2016.
