Mila Kunis has been busy lately touring for her forthcoming movie, Bad Moms, appearing on talk shows and in magazine interviews. It was during one of these appearances that the 32-year-old Hollywood actress made a revelation about her and husband Ashton Kutcher’s wedding rings that sets a new benchmark in celebrity weddings.
When Kunis isn’t talking about how handy her husband since 2015, 34-year-old Kutcher is to have around the home for his ability to build baby gates and fix things, she’s making revelations about just how cheap her wedding band was when the couple tied the knot in their garden wedding.
Taking a seat on American talk show, with Conan O’Brien, Kunis said: ‘My husband got me a beautiful engagement ring. Like stunning, stunning, stunning. But for our wedding bands for when we got married, I just decided to get them off of Etsy.’
‘I’ve been talking to you for years and I’ve always loved the fact that you are frugal,’ said O’Brien.
‘That’s a nice way of saying cheap,’ she said laughing.
‘OK, you’re a cheapskate,’ he said.
Kunis was determined to find the thinnest possible platinum wedding band. She looked at Tiffany’s and couldn’t justify paying that much.
‘I went on Etsy and it was like $90 and I was like ‘Buy now’! Ashton’s is $100, so technically, his wedding band was a little more expensive,’ she said.
‘Oh he’s really pimping it with his $100 band,’ said O’Brien.
In any case, it was a gorgeous wedding and with the couple’s plans for a family in the limelight, they’re so nice to watch.
