But on Tuesday, it was revealed she and her hubby Prince Harry are set to join forces with another member of the royal family, in what will be a royal first.

According to Hello magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will accompany Camilla when she visits the 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey on November 7.

While Harry has previously attended the event, it will be a first for Meghan and his mother-in-law, the Duchess of Cornwall, who is also Patron of the Poppy Factory.

In what is expected to be a moving series of events, the royals will each lay a cross of Remembrance before the Last Post will sound, followed by a two-minute silence.

The trio will then visit the memorial plots for regimental and other associations, where they will pay their respects and meet with veterans from all areas of the armed forces.

Later in the week, Harry and Meghan will join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

At last year’s event, Meghan, who was pregnant with Archie, stepped out in a very affordable chic black dress from British retailer Marks & Spencer, which retailed for less than $100.

Harry and Meghan’s royal duties will finish on Sunday, when they join the entire family as they attend the traditional Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.

The Duchess of Sussex’s latest royal itinerary comes after it was revealed she regularly stays in contact with TV host Ellen DeGeneres, and even texts her recommendations for the show.

Last week, Ellen revealed to viewers that she invited a pair of dancers onto her chat show after Meghan texted her about how “great” they were.

“Meghan Markle sent me this video, she texted me and said what do you think of this, how great is this girl?” Ellen said at the time.
