Meghan Markle was scolded by the Queen over egg.
Royal author Katie Nicholl revealed the Duchess of Sussex insisted on there being a ‘macrobiotic alternative’ for some of the Hollywood star guests that attended her wedding to Prince Harry last May.
She told Yahoo’s Royal Box: ‘[Meghan] got very upset when she felt that she could taste egg in a dish when she was told there was no egg in there, and she said, “No, I can taste it, I can taste there’s egg in this dish.”
Nicholl then said the Queen walked in and calmly and took Meghan to the side and said, “Meghan, in this family we don’t speak to people like that”.’
This isn’t the first time the former Suits actress has felt the wrath of Her Majesty.
In November last year several reports claim the monarch ‘had words’ with Prince Harry over his ‘difficult bride’s’ choice of tiara.
