It’s the moment Australia has been talking about. And tonight, Married At First Sight participants Sam Ball and Ines Basic finally took their onscreen ‘affair’ to the next level by spending the night together.
The pair, who are currently tied up in one of TV’s most controversial romances, enjoyed wine and a chat before making their way to the bedroom where things got hot and heavy.
However, it seems while Ines was hoping for something more serious, their late night tryst was nothing but a one-night stand for Sam.
“Ines fell for Sam hard (after that night),” an onset insider reveals to New Idea.
So much so that it is understood, Ines, who was matched with Bronson by the experts, tried to get Sam to re-enter the experiment with her but Sam wasn’t sold on the idea.
“He wasn’t ready to commit to that level,” the source adds.
“Ines tried everything to get him to agree and was actually mortified that he wouldn’t do that for her and it caused a lot of tension.”
New Idea understands it was after this conversation between them that things turned sour.
“Ines was furious with Sam and felt used,” the spy continues, adding the duo no longer speak and despise each other.
“Sam obviously has a girlfriend now and he and Ines can’t stand each other.”
