Self-professed spiritual guru Dino Hira has found himself in hot water with his TV bride Melissa Lucarelli on the current season of Married At First Sight.
In scenes set to air later this week, Mel is horrified to discover her groom has been secretly recording her.
The 38-year-old talent manager spoke to Paul & Lise on Perth’s 96FM about the shocking revelation and branded Dino’s actions “creepy”.
Dino appears to have invaded Mel’s privacy by recording her phone conversations with her sister.
The former stripper defended his decision by claiming he planned to play the audio clips for MAFS experts during an upcoming counselling session.
But Mel wasn’t accepting his excuses, telling Paul & Lise that despite being a reality star she still expected a certain degree of privacy.
“It’s not Big Brother, there’s no cameras there recording us 24/7 – when we’re filmed we know we’re getting filmed, but he was secretly recording my conversation!” she said.
According to Perth Now, Dino started taping his wife when he overheard her speaking negatively about him.
